How to Fish the Fall Mullet Run Kit

Start with a slow to medium retrieve, allowing the Motion Minnow’s swimming action to work. Mix in pauses and short bursts of speed to vary the presentation and imitate a struggling baitfish.

Adjust your retrieve and lure selection to the water depth, current, and direction of your cast. Use the subsurface models to work higher in the water column, slow sinkers for a more patient presentation, and sinking models when you need to reach deeper fish.

Pro tip: Cast along the edges of mullet schools and work your lure past likely ambush points. Give predators a distinct target outside the bait.
